Nearest Hot Dog is a simple location-based app that helps users quickly find the closest place that sells hot dogs. With a single tap, the app uses your device’s current location to search for nearby vendors that offer hot dogs. While the app is a great tool for searching it is not 100% accurate. Please be aware of your surroundings and use your best judgement when using the app.
If you're experiencing any issues with the app or have suggestions, feel free to contact us:
This app uses your location solely to perform nearby searches. Your location is not stored, tracked, or shared. We do not collect any personal information, and there are no accounts or login systems.
Q: How does the app find hot dogs?
A: We use Google Maps Places API to perform a local search for businesses with “hot dog” in their name or
category.
Q: Why is there a cooldown?
A: To prevent spamming search requests, the app briefly locks between searches. You can watch an AD to support the
project and cut the countdown betweeen searches in half
